I love Anna Paquin, and when I read the books I pictured her as Sookie, thanks to the show. I think she’s totally gorgeous. Obviously, she lacks the blue eyes but apart from that, I can’t picture anyone else playing Sookie now.
Sometimes I think Charlaine’s comments come across quite harsh to her fans. I know she’s the creator of the characters but the tv show has given her books a lot of exposure as well.

What do you think? Are you happy with Anna Paquin portraying Sookie Stackhouse?

Anna is not Sookie, she is absolutely nothing like Book Sookie and when Charlaine Harris says that she is not her character (like she did for Alex and Eric too btw) it means that she is not physically and probably not only this, like the Sookie she had in mind when she started the series and i’m with her in this, TB Sookie is not the original, she would have never reacted the way she did these past 2 seasons and thank you Jesus for that. 

Charlaine Harris wasn’t rude at all, just check her facebook to read what she had to post to defend herself from some idiots. She is the real creator and she has every right to say wathatever the fuck she wants and how she wants and i’m actually here waiting for her to say what she really thinks about True Blood, because right now she isn’t saying the truth. Untill now she had always been more than polite, way too much imo. C’mon CH, just say it!
